What do Australians think about whether RU486 should be available?
A recent Newspoll survey surveyed 1200 Australians. The survey asked respondents, in the specific context of abortion, whether they would “personally be in favor or against RU 486 being made available in Australia for use by qualified medical practitioners.” The survey found that 68% of Australians are in favor of its availability under these circumstances.
